Waterbased Enamel Colours

Waterbased enamels can be matched to Mylands colour cards and our team of colour matchers can match to all colour standards.

Always stir well and check shade and sheen before use.

Coverage

Approximately 6 - 8 square metres per litre.

Application

Standard products are for Conventional spray, if necessary 5 - 10% thinners max. Normally, two or more coats of the same material are applied, the exception being the full matt lacquer where we recommend a basecoat of higher sheen material is used to maintain clarity of finish.

Air pressure: 35 - 45 psi

Fluid Pressure: 10 - 15 psi

A minimum shop temperature of 15°C is required.

Drying

Touch dry: 15-20 mins
Sanding/re-coating: 60-90 mins
These times may be reduced by forced drying. At temperatures below 15°C and high humidity, drying times will be extended and film formation endangered.

Non-fade Ground Stain: Suitable
Waterstain: Suitable
Lightfast: Suitable
Nitrostains: Suitable
NB. Stains must be dry before continuing with finishing system.
