No.8 Lacquer (traditional oil based floor polyurethane)

Suitable for old traditional floors where a warm tone is required especially old pine floorboards.
Use by flooring contractors for over 50 years!
A single component durable Alkyd polyurethane lacquer
Excellent film thickness with good flow and easy application.

The resin is expensive and helps create a product that is higher in quality than other varieties. The semi-gloss is low in sheen and the matt is dead matt!

Application
Thin first coat 20 % with white spirit or use over Mylands barrier seal. (Allow overnight dry before applying No 8). Lightly cut back between coats with 280 or 320 grade paper.
Standard domestic ware 2 coats. Higher resistance 3 coats.
Matt and semi matt versions not suitable for kitchen or bathroom use.
Coverage: 10-12m² per litre. Re-coat time 4 hours. Maximum durability (covering) 7 days.
